A big part of that mission is our Free Item Days — once a month, spring through fall, weather permitting.
We rent a space, each month @ the Sugarhouse Farmers Market. Where we give away items rescued from our paid junk removal jobs—completely free to the community. It’s one of the parts of our work we’re most proud of. While we resell some items to help fund these efforts, our real goal is to keep good things out of landfills and get them into the hands of people who can use them. And when the day is done, anything we can’t give away is donated to local organizations and charities, so as little as possible goes to waste.
Our mission is simple: Donate, Recycle, or Resell first — and only take TRUE TRASH to the landfill. Every job is an opportunity to give items a second life and get them back into the hands of people who can actually use them. From furniture and household goods to clothing and more, we're always looking for ways to turn what's no longer needed into something meaningful for someone else.
